POLE FITNESS CLASSES
Combining strength, flexibility, creativity, stamina and most importantly a great time, a pole fitness class will tick all of your fitness class requirements, and more!
Offering both group classes and 1:1 sessions, you can join an enthusiastic, encouraging and mood boosting class or benefit from 1:1 time from one of our instructors.
With the ever growing pole community, the variety, complexity and vast catalogue of moves to try and master is endless, so every class is different and the sessions are designed to build strength ready for the next challenge.
All of our pole classes include:
Full body warm up, including strength exercises
Pole conditioning
Moves and combinations - both on static and spinning pole
Cool down
POLE CONDITIONING
This class is currently only open to current pole students due to the element of pole included within the session. It is suitable for any ability student, as the exercises performed will be shown at varying levels of difficulty.
Do you want to feel stronger in your pole sessions, then this class is for you!
Our pole conditioning class is a great workout that will help you achieve the strength that you need to continue working towards those nemesis moves. By conditioning your body through specific range of motion, means that you can work on the weak points to improve your overall strength. It will also help improve your lines and will help to balance your body.
Come and spend an hour with us working through some of the best conditioning exercises and improve your capabilities in class.
STRETCH AND TONE
Creating a softer environment for this full body stretch class, which is designed to awaken the body and set you up for your week ahead.
Through smooth choreography and informed direction, you will move your body using a variety of positions to find movement through your joints allowing the muscles to gently relax and improve mobility.
This session is available to all abilities, with options being provided if additional assistance is required or to deepen a stretch if progression is possible.
All equipment is provided at the studio for this session.
NEW - UNWIND AND STRETCH
This class is suitable for all abilities, where we will take you through some gentle all over stretches to increase mobility and flexibility.
Stretching at the end of the day, will relax the mind and body, reducing stress and aiding sleep.
We have structured the class to follow similar choreography to our morning class, therefore having the benefits of the full body stretch, but the evening session concludes with 15 minutes of flow to help with the destressing and winding down ready for a calm evening.
We can't wait to introduce you to this new relaxing environment and class.
SPLITS FLEXIBILITY CLASS
Whether looking to improve your flexibility to be able to do the splits, for your pole classes or just a general improvement to mobility, this class is more than just a stretch.
Building strength and improving flexibility are both required when looking to become more bendy, so we provide a great workout as well you feeling stretched at the end of a session.
Using flows, combinations, static and active stretching, as well as other methods, the classes are always varied. And from continued learning, new positions and information is used each week to provide the best stretch for your body.
All equipment is provided at the studio, and on zoom you will be advised as to what is required.
This class is a deeper stretch than the Gentle Morning Stretch.
FULL BODY BOOTCAMP
As the name suggests this class is for a full body workout.
Each week contains different exercises, executed in different layouts to create new ways to challenge the body.
Although the exercises change we always work through upper body, lower body, core work and cardio and the majority of the workouts are body weight only.
Squats, Lunges, Press Ups and Planks appear most weeks, to provide examples of what exercises can be expected. And we always find that a little competition helps boost the class so games and partner exercises are often included.
Technique is explained during the class so no experience is necessary.
DANCE FIT
No dance background required for this class. The moves are simple and easy to follow, starting with the basic steps and adding direction, arm lines and impact.
During the session we work through the warm up (those basic steps), into some stretching to prepare the body, next for the progressive main section - using the warm up and developing those steps, followed by a strengthening section on the mats, and finished with further stretching, so the body is ready to continue the day.
This class will get you nice and sweaty in an enjoyable way!
MUMS AND LITTLE ONES
This class is open to both expecting mums and those with little ones (or not so little ones anymore). Although the class is designed for mums, you are welcome to bring your babies/children with you.
The class follows the structure of our Dance Aerobics class, but is adapted so whether you are looking for a great workout or just to keep yourself moving, this is suitable for all. In addition to the choreographed main section, we will work through pelvic floor and abdominal exercises, again tailored for all stages of pre and post natal.
We finish the class with light stretching and relaxation, the perfect end to this workout.
Before attending Bumps and Mummies, we require you to complete a questionnaire. This will provide us with information about your pregnancy/current health, so we can assess your level and ability before starting the sessions.

Abigail's Performing Arts
Abigail's Performing Arts is a Halstead based theatre group that welcomes all ages and abilities. We are passionate about performing and have been doing do locally since 2014 and in 2019 received the aware for 'Best Musical' for our production of '9 to 5'. During our classes we strive to produce fun and entertaining shows that encourage and give every member the opportunity to shine. PDC Approved 3 Star Instructors
The Pole Dance Community (PDC) is an advisory and awarding body for the pole dancing industry and was established in 2009 to help self regulate pole dancing instructors and studios.
Both of our studio instructors are Level 5 Awarded Dancers with PDC and 3 Star Approved Instructors. These qualifications have been held for over 6 years and with every year, our passion for this amazing sport only increases.
